Success can often feel hard to define, but in IFS, it can look very different.
Finding SELF-energy and helping your system understand that your SELF is safe, present, and available is a true measure of healing and growth. IFS is a beautiful, gentle way to work through emotions and trauma while creating lasting transformation. With IFS, the process of change and growth has begun!
Empowerment
IFS also empowers you to work through difficult situations, stress, and trauma in your everyday life.
It helps you understand and heal the parts of yourself that developed coping strategies that once served you but no longer do. As you learn to access your own SELF-energy, you become better able to bring peace and balance to your emotions and nervous system, even in the midst of daily challenges. SELF-empowerment is key.
Love
Love is at the heart of IFS.
Through IFS sessions, you learn to offer love and compassion to the parts of you that are hurt, confused, or struggling. You also learn to get to know and appreciate the parts that use strategies that may no longer serve you, recognizing that those strategies once protected you and were often effective and necessary. As you become curious about and get to know your Internal Family System, you create space for greater love, acceptance, and true healing. This process also deepens SELF-love and creates more capacity to connect with and truly love the people around you.
Focus
Focus can become stronger when you are more fully present in the moment.
Instead of being overwhelmed by negative reactions and emotions, you can turn your attention inward, understand what is happening within your system, and use your SELF-energy to create greater peace and balance. This allows you to be more present and intentional in your personal growth, your relationships, and your overall sense of fulfillment. You can focus on the future, ready to take flight!
